Fralin Blues Special Tele®, Set

The Blues Special Tele® pickup is wound 5% hotter than the Fralin Stock Tele® pickup, for a little extra warmth, punch, and girth. It's the perfect pickup for anyone who wants a beefier sound that is never too dark. When playing clean, the Blues Special sounds thick and rich, especially in the lows and mids. It is open and clear without much compression. With distortion, it cuts through, while being slightly compressed and thick, with a low-end growl and a medium attack. Single notes sound thick and round, while chords have a full tone with an early breakup.

Wound with 42-gauge wire. Uses beveled Alnico V magnets and vintage-style cloth leads. All Lindy Fralin pickups are made by hand in the USA
