Details

The Schaller Floyd Rose differs from the Original Floyd in several ways. First, the base plate is die cast, as opposed to solid steel. This gives it a slightly warmer tone. (The fulcrum points are hardened steel inserts.) Second, the locking screws aren't as long in the back. This means it has a smaller footprint, and requires a smaller rout. Lastly, it features a 12" radius, as opposed to the 10" of the Original Floyd Rose. Trembuckers or F-Spaced humbuckers are not required.

It features the same unrivaled tuning stability as the Original Floyd Rose. The strings lock at both the bridge and at the nut (sold separately), allowing subtle or aggressive tremolo use, always with the confidence you’ll come back to perfect tune. The bridge features a locking saddle design for zero string-slippage, and fine-tuners for easy tuning adjustments once the nut is locked.

Details
  • 12" string radius (bridge)
  • 10" string radius (locking nut)
  • String spread is 2-1/8" (53mm)
  • 37mm tremolo block
  • Includes bridge, tremolo arm, springs, claw & screws, mounting studs, hex wrenches, string retainer bar & mounting screws
Other Floyd Rose components may also be purchased separately:
  • To purchase mounting studs & inserts separately click here.
  • To purchase string retainer bar separately click here.
  • There are many bridges made under Floyd Rose patents. Unfortunately, their physical dimensions are not uniform. On our bodies, we only offer routing for the Original Floyd Rose tremolo and for the Schaller Floyd Rose tremolo, both of which we sell. If you are buying a new Warmoth body and are either buying a bridge on the same order or can provide us with the studs and inserts, we can install the inserts in the body for just +$10. (Must be the correct size for our mounting holes).
