The Stag Mag is a high-output bridge pickup specifically designed to deliver true Strat® single-coil tone when split. The typical humbucker bar magnet has been replaced by Alnico 2 rod magnets, arranged in the traditional single-coil stagger. When split, the sound is bouncy and bright, just like a Strat®. The humbucker tone is fat and smooth. Pair the Stag Mag with an Alnico II Pro or Pearly Gates neck model for a great dual-humbucker setup. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA.
