Bodies with the control cavity routed on the top are referred to as "Top Rout". The controls are mounted to a pickguard or control plate that covers the cavity.

Bodies with a control cavity in the back are referred to as "Rear Rout". The controls are mounted to the wood.

On Rear Rout bodies, a black control cavity cover (with mounting screws) is included in the price. Other colors can be ordered for an additional charge. Please contact us for details.
