Tremolo Bridge Routs
6-Hole Vintage Tremolo
- Mounting screw span is 2.2" (55.9mm)
- Mounting screw hole diameter: 1/8" (3mm).
Gotoh 510 Tremolo
- This rout also fits the Wilkinson 1302P tremolo, but you must use the Gotoh studs Warmoth sells.
- Mounting stud span is 2.2" (55.9mm)
- Drilled for .388" (10mm) diameter insert.
- Rout fits most other Gotoh 510-series tremolo units as well.
- For a small charge, Warmoth can install the mounting studs. Simply choose the Stud Mount option when ordering.
- Not available on Tele® Deluxe and 72 Thinline bodies.
American Standard Fender® Tremolo
- Mounting stud span is 2.2" (55.9mm)
- Drilled for .375" (10mm) diameter insert.
- Not available on Tele® Deluxe and 72 Thinline bodies.
- For a small charge, Warmoth can install the mounting studs. Simply choose the Stud Mount option when ordering.
Wilkinson VS100 Tremolo
- This rout does NOT fit the Wilkinson 1302P tremolo.
- Mounting stud span is 2.15" (54.5mm)
- Drilled for .382" (10mm) diameter insert.
- For a small charge, Warmoth can install the mounting studs. Simply choose the Stud Mount option when ordering.
- Not available on Tele® Deluxe and 72 Thinline bodies.
Floyd Rose Style Tremolo
- 2.913" (73.99mm) mounting stud span
- Drilled for .390" (10mm) diameter inserts.
- Angled neck pocket recommended.

Schaller Floyd Rose Recessed

Wilkinson Semi-Recessed
- Mounting stud span is 2.2" (55.9mm)
- Drilled for .382" (10mm) diameter insert.
- This rout increases the depth under the back end of the bridge only, for a greater range of motion. It does not encompass the entire tremolo unit, or allow it to be recessed into the body. The tremolo unit must be set up at the normal height.
- For a small charge, Warmoth can install the mounting studs. Simply choose the Stud Mount option when ordering.
- Not available on Tele® Deluxe and 72 Thinline bodies.
Rear Trem Spring Cavity
All the tremolo and recessed tremolo bridge routs listed above come with the same spring cavity rout in the back of the guitar body.
- The pilot-holes for the spring-claw screws are pre-drilled for easy installation.
Flat-Mount Hardtail Bridge Routs
(Ground wire holes drilled to all Strat® hardtail bridges). The back side of these "vintage bridge" bodies are drilled 5/16" for the string anchor ferrules.
Vintage Tele®
- Screw and string-through holes are 1/8" (3.18mm) diameter.
- This pattern matches the vintage "ash tray" style bridge as well as our Vintage Tele® Bridge and Gotoh brand replacements, (both standard and humbucker versions).
American Standard Tele®
- Screw and string-through holes are 1/8® (3.18mm) diameter.
- This rout is compatible with the Fender American Standard Tele® bridge, which we do not sell.
Vintage Spaced Strat® Flatmount
- Screw and string-through holes are 1/8" (3.18mm) diameter.
Narrow Spaced Strat® Flatmount
- The mounting holes are identical to the Vintage-Style Strat®/American Standard Strat® flat mount bridge, but the string through holes are drilled larger.
American Standard Flatmount
- Screw and string-through holes are 1/8" (3.18mm) diameter.
- This rout is not interchangeable with the Vintage Spaced Strat® Flatmount rout. The dimensions are slightly narrower.
Vintage Strat® - String-Through Holes Only
This rout fits any generic hardtail bridge with string holes in the standard Strat® position.
- String-through holes are 1/8" (3.18mm) diameter.
- Use these string-through holes to properly locate and align your bridge, and then drill your mounting holes.
Schaller 475
- String-through holes are 1/8" (3.18mm) diameter.
Gotoh 12-String
- String-through holes are .188" (4.78mm) diameter.
- Mounting holes are .125" (3.18mm) diameter.
Post-Mount Hardtail Bridge Routs
Tune-O-Matic Bridge and Stop Tailpiece
- Drilled for .430" (11mm) diameter inserts.
- Notice that the Tune-o-Matic section of the rout is slightly diagonal. This helps to achieve proper intonation.

Recessed Tune-O-Matic - Angled
- Due to the bridge recess, a neck pocket angle is not required.
- Available on Flat Top models only.
- The strings go through our top-string-through ferrules and anchor in our standard guitar string ferrules in the back of the body.
- For a small charge Warmoth can install the mounting studs. Simply choose the Stud Install option when ordering.
Recessed Tune-O-Matic - Arched
- Due to the bridge recess, a neck pocket angle is not required.
- Available on Flat Top models only.
- The strings go through our top-string-through ferrules and anchor in our standard guitar string ferrules in the back of the body.
- For a small charge Warmoth can install the mounting studs. Simply choose the Stud Install option when ordering.
Recessed Tune-O-Matic - Staggered
- Due to the bridge recess, a neck pocket angle is not required.
- Available on Flat Top models only.
- The strings go through our top-string-through ferrules and anchor in our standard guitar string ferrules in the back of the body.

Gotoh Wraparound Bridge
- Stud span is 3.23" (82mm).
- Insert holes are drilled .421" (11mm) diameter.

- Commonly used on both the Jazzmaster® and Jaguar bodies.

Warmoth does not stock or special order the bridges listed below, but we can rout for them.
