Bass Neck Mounting Holes
Standard 4-Bolt
Our 4-String and 5-String bass necks come with pre-drilled mounting holes that match Fender's® vintage/original 4-bolt neck pocket specifications, except when noted. They also match all Warmoth bodies. The holes are 1/8" (3mm) in diameter.
Custom necks can also be ordered without mounting holes.
- Warmoth does not offer a 5-Bolt mounting option.
- Warmoth does not offer the Fender® 3-bolt "micro-tilt" configuration on bass necks.
Gecko Heels
Our Gecko bass necks come with pre-drilled mounting holes that are 1/8" (3mm) in diameter. These holes match Warmoth Gecko bodies only. There will also be extra holes which we require for our finishing process, but are not used when mounting the neck.
Tip: Applying a small amount of paraffin, beeswax, or soap to the mounting screw threads will make neck installation easier.
