Bass Neck Constructions
Warmoth bass necks are the most stable, playable, and best sounding bass replacement neck on the market. We offer them in two constructions:
Super Bass Neck Construction
Super Bass construction necks use a double-expanding truss rod that is adjustable at the heel, with a stiffening bar on each side*.
Super Bass Tiltback Neck Construction
Super Bass Tiltback construction necks use a double-expanding truss rod that is adjustable at the headstock, with a stiffening bar on each side*.
Stiffening Bars
Stiffening bars are installed on either side of the truss rod in Super Bass necks to enhance stability and add mass, which helps to eliminate dead spots. We offer them in two materials:
Steel Stiffening Rods
- Increased mass contributes to long sustain
- Even frequency response
- Standard on Super bass necks*
Graphite Stiffening Rods
- As stiff as steel bars, with less weight
- Warm frequency response similar to a vintage neck
*Warmoth Short Scale bass necks do not use Stiffening Bars.
