Seymour Duncan Five-Two Tele®, Bridge

After hearing the request of Nashville studio players who wanted a softer attack on their high strings, without sacrificing the snap on the low strings, Duncan came up with the Five-Two. It's a mix of Alnico 2 magnets under the G, B, & E strings, and Alnico 5 under the low E, A, & D, for a best-both-worlds tone that is sweeter in the high-end, while retaining the low-end twang the Tele® is famous for. It's a well balanced and articulate pickup with traditional output, that is never too bright nor too mushy. Combine with the Five-Two Tele® neck for a perfectly matched set. Uses waxed-cloth hookup wire, standard .187″ diameter alnico 2 & 5 rod magnets, and a copper plated steel bottom plate. Made by hand in Santa Barbara, CA.
