The Vintage P Bass® single-coil pickup nails the robust low end and subtle, articulate midrange punch of the early '50s originals. The output is a little lower than other pickups, giving you lots of headroom, yet maintaining distinct, classic tone. It uses period-correct Forbon flatwork, hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets, and lacquered bobbins for the most authentic tone possible. Each one is wrapped in black yarn for protection, just like the originals. It installs easily into any American P-Bass® single-coil-sized rout. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA.
