Seymour Duncan Passive Soapbar Phase II, Set

Duncan's passive soapbar pickup has a more moderate output, and a more subtle tone than its active brothers. The punch you want is still there, but the feel of the pickup is more organic. Drop tunings are no problem. Even with the lowest of lows, the articulation and low-end clarity shine...and there is never a need to hassle with batteries. It installs easily into an EMG 40-sized pickup rout. Pair it with Duncan's 5-String Phase II Passive neck pickup for a perfectly matched set. For the greatest tone control, use a Duncan STC-2 or STC-3 preamp. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA.
