Stiffening Bars
Stiffening bars are installed on either side of the truss rod in Super Bass necks to enhance stability and add mass, which helps to eliminate dead spots. We offer them in two materials:
Steel Stiffening Rods
- Increased mass contributes to long sustain
- Even frequency response
- Standard on Super bass necks*
Graphite Stiffening Rods
- As stiff as steel bars, with less weight
- Warm frequency response similar to a vintage neck
