This plate positions the mounting screws in the middle, and therefore works best on bodies with the large 1/2" edge radius, such as the Strat®, Jazzmaster®, P Bass® and J Bass® replacement bodies. It is big enough in the center to completely cover both 7/8" and 3/4" side jack holes.
