These mounting screws are a "vintage" alternative to the studs and inserts used to mount modern Floyd Rose® bridges. They were standard equipment on the earliest versions of the Floyd Rose® tremolo, and many believe they offer superior tone because they couple directly with the body wood. Warmoth does not drill for these nor install them.
