Standard 4-Bolt
With this option the guitar body will come with four pre-drilled mounting holes that match Fender's® vintage/original neck pocket specifications.
- This is the default option, and how the vast majority of bodies are sold.
- Fits Warmoth replacement necks, and all other necks that use Fender's dimensions.
No Mounting Holes (Index Hole Only)
With this option three neck mounting holes will be left undrilled. The remaining one, which Warmoth uses to index the body for CNC routing, will be left as-is.
- Use this option if you wish to drill your own mounting holes, and plan to fill the index hole yourself.
- The only goes part-way through the body, and is not visible inside the neck pocket.
No Mounting Holes (Index Hole Filled)
With this option three neck mounting holes will be left undrilled, and the remaining one, which Warmoth uses to index the body for CNC routing, will be filled with a dowel.
- Use this option if you wish to drill your own mounting holes, and wish Warmoth to fill the index hole for you.
Three-Bolt Micro-Tilt
This option fits the 3-Bolt Micro-tilt necks and hardware that Fender used between 1971 to 1981, and on some of the their new reissues.
- Use this option is you have a Fender 3-Bolt Micro-tilt neck.
- Warmoth does not sell any of the hardware necessary for this installation.
Tip: Applying a small amount of paraffin, beeswax, or soap to the mounting screw threads will make neck installation easier.
