Pickup Cutouts
Most of the pickup cutouts we offer on our pickguards are a standard size, and will fit the type of pickups they are named for, from any brand. However, humbucker sizes can vary by brand and model. Use the diagrams below to choose the correct size cutouts for the pickups you plan to use.
Humbuckers
These routs fit the standard Gibson®-sized humbucker. Nearly all pickup manufacturers adhere to these sizes, for the both their standard and "F-Spaced" or "53mm" models.
Trembuckers
These routs fit Seymour Duncan Trembucker pickups only.
- Trembucker cutouts are too large for standard-spaced Seymour Duncan humbuckers. Specify a Humbucker or Humbucker (Covered) size instead.
- Trembucker cutouts are too large for "F-Spaced" or "53mm" humbuckers. Specify a Humbucker or Humbucker (Covered) size instead.
Wide-Range Humbucker
This rout fits Fender® Wide-Range humbucker pickups only.
Mini Humbuckers
Be sure the to choose the correct size cutout for the brand of mini humbucker you plan to use.
