For best visibility of inlays and side dots, be sure to select a color that contrasts with the color of your fretboard wood. For example, black inlays on an Ebony fretboard would be difficult to see. However, white inlays would be highly visible. Orders are made to the specs you submit, so please be certain you choose your inlay color carefully.

In 2026 Warmoth released a limited run of fully-built Meadowhawk guitars. Each one was named for a particular variety of dragonfly.
The bodies featured a dramatic "two-step top" made of 5A Quilt Maple on a Mahogany core. The necks were Quartersawn Roasted Maple with an Indian Rosewood fretboard, and featured our unique Eclipsed Block inlay pattern and ghost-tang fret install. Warmoth commemorated our 40th anniversay in 2020 by releasing a limited run of two fully-built guitars.
