40th Anniversary Redshifter and Meadowhawk

Warmoth commemorated our 40th anniversay in 2020 by releasing a limited run of two fully-built guitars. Both guitars were original designs and featured the best components and materials throughout, including fully-sculpted heel joints, "ghost-tang" fret installation, highly figured lam tops, matching headstock lams, quartersawn Roasted Maple necks, Gotoh and Hipshot bridges, and Bare Knuckle pickups.

Though we origninally planned to release 40 guitars - 20 of each - our plans changed with the arrivial of the covid-19 pandemic. As a result, only five of each were released. That makes these Warmoth-built guitars extremely rare. We may at some point release the remaining guitars, but these originals will be the only ones to ever bear the hand-written 40th Anniversary serial numbers on the back of the headstocks.

Meadowhawk

This single-cut design featured a dramatic "two-step top" made of 5A Quilt Maple. Our goal for the fretboard inlays was to create a pattern that got larger as it went up the neck, instead of smaller. The result was our "Eclised Block" inlay pattern. Each guitar also featured a calibrated set of Bare Knuckle Crawlers humbuckers, Gotoh locking tuners, and a Hipshot hardtail bridge.

Redshifter

This double-cut design featured a unique body and neck construction. The body is three pieces: Mahogany on the sides with a thin Canary stringer down the center. The lam top is 5A Flame Maple and split in the center to reveal the stringer. The fretboard continues the design with a matching Canary stripe inlayed down the center. Each guitar also featured a calibrated set of Bare Knuckle Holy Diver humbuckers, Gotoh locking tuners, and a Gotoh 510 Tremolo bridge.
